ohhh lord it's been a long day for me and the boys!

piglet had an appointment with the vet for his ringworm this afternoon, which went well, gave us shampoo and ointment for him. the other 2 are supposed to use the shampoo as well....apparently roger has a huuuge problem with baths! we washed him in a basin that's a good foot deep. well, the little brat literally launched himself out of the basin straight up in the air and landed six inches away on the counter next to the sink. i couldnt believe it, i had no idea he could jump so high! we are so lucky he didnt get hurt, but i think he gave me a minor heart attack in the process mallethead. we also had to disinfect everything, which was quite tedious; i hope i got it all clean. the bad part is i have to give them 2 baths a week, hopefully roger doesnt end up killing himself (you should have heard the way he was wheeking, you would have thought we were torturing him instead of bathing him!) rolleyes. I'm just glad they didnt give me an oral treatment again, although with the bath fiasco it might be easier to syringe feed them...

Was it cold rinsing water....Carmina always launched herself out of cold water, she couldn't stand it!

one of my boys is like that. I have to bath him using a small tub on the ground.

William hates baths too!

I learnt my lesson when I tried to bath him in the sink - I now fill the bath up with about an inch of warm water and fill the sink up and use a cup to wash him with. rolleyesrolleyes

Mine even do a great job of nearly getting out of the bath, they can fairly move when they want to can't they
It's frustrating though as you have to do it for their own good and they do everything to fight against it and then you feel so bad putting them through it

Ahhh hope future baths go a little better for you!xox

thank you! and sarah, it was warm water, he just really hates it! i gave them quite the gourmet salad after the ordeal, so hopefully they'll forgive me! rolleyes

My Rocky doesnt like baths either, and to stop him running away or injurin himself tryin to escape I stick him in the bath tub with a bath mat, works wonders!
