Ok ive been naughty

As you know we lost Peppa yesterday morning :(, my mum was taking me to p@h to get some supplies for the critters and OH talked me into going to get some air and get out of the house (I didnt feal like going).
My mum was looking at the piggys (I was trying to take no notice) she called me over to the adoption center were they had a girly pig all on her own :( reason for being in the adoption center, She has one eye, I had to have her as soon as i set eyes on her and so I'm naughty rolleyes.

Can you blame me, I could'nt leave her all alone in that tiny pen,
Ive named her Pippa as she reminds me of Peppa so alittle tribute to her
 
I can now (that was a bit odd?)

She is gorgeous, and her name really suits her! Why does she only have one eye? Bless her she is lovely xx
 
They didnt say rolleyes but as far as i can gather she was born this way, she has 2 eyes actually but one is very small and covered by a thin layer of skin.
 
Thats funny, because a long time ago i was in P@H and there was a boy in the adoption centre with one tiny little eye and a normal eye, the note said he will need regular treatment and vets appointments but he was born like it too, Sadly circumstances at the time didn't allow me to take him and give him all of the care he needs, i just hope whoever did take him is looking after him.
 
I can understand why you were 'naughty'.....I'd have fallen for her too.
IMO it would have been much more naughty to leave her there for any old Tom, Dick or Harry! :x

ok I live in Northampton and before Christmas there was 2 boys in p at h adoption bit One of them had had a really badly infected eye and was now blind in that one eye. Coincidental?

Its either in breeding inbreeding or something is verry wrong, they also had 2 boars who had had ring worm!

Pippas eye is clear i gave her a good check over but if i feal anything is amiss she will be off to the vets

Oh how lovely you have adopted her. It is so sad she was placed in the adoption area just because of having a smaller eye. She is a beautiful girl. I look forward to hearing all about her settling in and seeing more photos.

Pippa is so cute, can understand why you brought her home, and she looks so happy in your photos all cuddled up :)

she is gorgeous!
well done for taking her in, most people wouldnt even look at her because of the eye.
but she is beautiful and needs somebody who will love her dearly.
well done and thank you for making it one less homeless piggie out there.
 
Yes she is lovely :), and I'm glad i took her in, she is so friendly too alittle skittish but thats not her fault.

All the info i have on her is Reason For Adoption (New Home) Important Info (Female 1 Eye) I dont think the girl who serverd me knew what she was doing really or cared that much (seamed like she wanted to be elsewere if you know what i mean). I have an Adoption number for her so i may try the store and see if they can tell me anything else.

I agree...it's a good kinda naughty. She is lovely and I am glad she found a caring home :)
