Hi,
One of my boars, Damien, is approximately 6 years old now, and is showing all the signs of ageing, including the joy that is impaction. One thing that is concerning me in particular is that he seems to squeak loudly and constantly for no reason - or not one that I have been able to identify.
I always make sure they have plenty of water, pellets and hay, and they have fresh veggies regularly, but nothing seems to keep him quiet for long - and even if he has just been fed he still tries to climb up the side of the cage squeaking!
Last night he kept waking us up (their cage is in the bedroom next to ours) by his squeaking, and no matter how much time I spend with him and how much food he gets, he never seems satisfied. The other boar seems bemused by the whole situation!
Does anyone have any ideas?
