It looks kinda like a chicken coop to me. Piggies don't really like to climb that much, why are there shelves? But I agree, it could be made up to look really nice.

If you read theres only one shelf which is for storing bedding etc on, i dont think the piggies are likely to jump that high ;D

If you made the shelf safe so they couldn't fall off with a ramp I think you could easily have 'loft areas' in it

Looks interesting - I wonder how the window opens if there is sturdy mesh in place. It looked huge in the pic but was 4x4, I think.

We need to replace the shed before the Winter and are just holding off while working out what we need to bear in mind. I've already decided we need the windows in a different position and that a stable door could be useful too. Perhaps we could design it so there is a run attached and in the shade? And am keeping an eye on the temp in the shed with a max-min thermometer as the weather warms up for the Summer. We might move the large hutch outdoors but then I think we might have to sort out a waterproof cover.

I am concerned abot whether mice will move in, though, especially after reading the sad postings recently.

Looks ideal. I think you should defiantly keep guineas, rabbits, ferrets etc. in sheds as there is so much space and you could do all sorts of set ups. Better then just a hutch and run. :)

I'm trying to convince hubby that having a shed would be a good idea it also means I could have more piggies!

LOL. I am hoping to get a shed this year, I have been looking for a good one for the last few months. The main reason being is the winter weather, it's just so cold so they can't go in the run and it isn't fair that they are stuck in a hutch. ;)
