I thought I would post a few photos from many years ago of the beautiful piggies I had when I was linked to a local Guinea Pig rescue (now closed). There are two (slightly upsetting) photos of Tyler and Lottie who had been kept in the bottom of an aviary for the first year or so of their lives. Obviously they had lived in fear thinking they were prey for the birds flying overhead and sadly lived amongst the bird droppings.. They were thin, terrified and covered in lice. The nice photo is from when I had them after the rescue had brought them back to good health and condition. Such beautiful girls but, despite my gentle efforts, they never quite got over their fears and would always scoot for cover when I appeared. I had them for about 4 years. Tyler is the lighter coloured piggie and Lottie is the darker one. I am sure you will agree that the rescue did an amazing job. RIP Tyler and Lottie. View attachment 41569

Aww they look like completely different pigs in the photo after they had been rescued. I bet they had a lovely 4 years with you after such a horrible start to life. Bless them, RIP lottie and tyler
