older hay?

hi all just wondering i bought a bag of hay a little while ago thats been opened but sat at the old place.. will it still be okay to use? obviously just less fresh? wondering if it needs to be chucked out or if i can make use of it!

As long as it isn’t damp or mouldy then you can still use it as bedding - they will probably still nibble at it anyway
