Older piggie

Hello, my older Male guinea pig might have arthritis. He started limping slightly about a week ago. I wasn't sure if it was a limp, it's so slight. I made a vet appointment but until then any advise for older pigs? It looks like it's his front right paw he is favoring. Any holistic ways to treat an older guy?

The best thing is for him to be seen by a vet who can do a hands-on exam. I don’t know any holistic treatments and not sure anyone on here does. But you can wait and see. When is he being seen?

We go Saturday. Thank you for replying. I hope the big guy is ok. He is loved, played with and cared for.
