I'd just like to share that last night after I cleaned the cage I was so happily surprised to see my 4 1/2 year old piggy Ginny popcorning around the cage. My pigs stopped popcorning after age two. I love it when they popcorn and missed it so much so it was so nice to see Ginny as an adult actually like a baby again in a way. Does anyone else with older piggies ever see them popcorn often? I honestly don't even know why it stopped after they were two years old though so feel free to share if you know!

My older two 4 and 6.5 popcorn occasionally, usually when they are put back into a clean cage. It's more of a 2 legs off the ground shoulder shrug though.

Brillo 2.5, Red 3, Caspy 4 and Nugget 1.5 all still popcorn a lot whenever the mood takes them! Caspy loves to do zoomies too, usually around 6 pm, watching him do figure of 8 circuits of his cage makes us laugh.

I was convinced my boar wasn’t his happiest after I rescued him (he was 3 at the time), but low and behold, after 2 months of having him, he did a little half sideways popcorn. He’s not the smallest of pigs to say the least and had to be slowly weaned off his ENORMOUS diet (nuggets bowl was permanently kept mountain high) and increasing his activity. He usually popcorns at fresh hay and has got some speed for a chunky boy! 3CA38107-5914-48FB-BFEB-B5803A8EEE71.webp
