Teenage Guinea Pig
Just wondering how long people have found their piggies have lived for? Any particularly long lived piggies? I've lost them at all sorts of ages but my handsome man Peanut just hit 8 years in September, he shows no signs of decreasing energy but I've got other piggies of 6/7 years who do show their age! Peanut is currently munching parsley in the next room and looks very sweet.
He was handed to me at 3 weeks old (too early but what can you do!?), I really have come to believe he much prefers human company to that of other piggies. I've tried to bond him frequently but he won't have any of it, all my other piggies live in groups of 2/3/4/5. He watches television with us every night and usually falls asleep on the nice blankets on the sofa and he's always waiting for me to come and get him from his cage. Tee hee!
