It's with great sadness that I tell you all Olive passed away this afternoon.

Her ongoing battle with losing weight and in the end, due to her soft food diet, her teeth became problematic. She would have very little chance to survive the operation and recovery.

In the end she was so tiny. She gave up after giving everything she had.

I became so close to her these last few weeks, trying to nurse her back to health. Sadly that wasn't to be. I think she knew it was her time.

Sweet dreams my brave beautiful girl. Love you always. X x x

So sorry @ayemee. Olive was such a beauty. I think you are right and that sometimes they make the decision so that we don't have to. Olive was so lucky to have had such a lovely home and caring owner and chums. Big hugs. Popcorn free Olive xx
 
Oh heck, so sorry to hear about Olive. That closeness when you nurse them to the end always makes the parting extra hard. She had stunning markings and I love the pic with her paw on your arm!

Completely gutted for you, I know how hard you both tried. It was 100% the right decision though. Sweet dreams beautiful Olive. We will light a candle for you tonight.
 
:( Oh no! I can't believe this! She hadn't been with you for very long. It seems so wrong that someone so beautiful should have such a short time with us. Peaceful dreams, lovely Olive. :bye:
 
So sorry for your loss, she looks so sweet in the pictures, popcorn free olive enjoy all the sweet grass' herbs & veggies over the rainbow bridge,

OMG, I am so shocked to read this @ayemee, I am really so very sorry. Olive was such a sweetie, you did all you could and she has had such a great life with you and her pals. Massive hugs to you

So sorry to hear about Olive :-( we become so attached to them, more than we ever thought possible, when we are nursing them daily! She was very lucky to have you and obviously knew it was her time.
