My guinea pigs have stayed at a boarder for 5 days.ive collected them to find Olivia has lost 200grams,now not eating.
I've stepped in with syringe feeding.its her teeth,front ones are slanted,back teeth are over growing.
It does seem these piggies seem to get a cluster of poorly piggies.ive lost two piggies in a month.
I will ring up for an appointment at Northampton vets Thursday.

I'm sorry Olivia has teeth problems Eileen. These piggies do keep us on our toes. I hope she will be eating well and gaining weight again after Thursday.

I'll probably have to wait for an appointment,as cat and rabbit are so busy,but I will keep syringe feeding.I'm not sure if there is an underlying problem.Olivia seems okay,just the weight loss will probably mean she has burned all her fat reserves.
She will only take emeraid ic at this point,but anything I can get down her helps.

Oh @eileen I'm so very sorry to hear this heart breaking news! She toddled off to The Rainbow Bridge surrounded by love in her own home. You gave Olivia lots of happy todays and lots of love. Popcorn free little one. The Rainbow Bridge has been very busy lately.
