Anyone just seen Miranda on Jonathan Ross? She had a guinea pig on her lap with a HARNESS on grrrr:...

I hate JR anyway, just turned TV on & caught it I am so cross, poor little piggy must be traumatised in a hot studio with those lights, & the noise, let alone meeting that idiot rolleyes

Glad they took it away asap, poor thing would have been terrified.

I only had it on to see Noel Gallagher....
 
She was trying to be funny and bring Jonathan a gift like Lady GaGa did when she gave him a sheep.
The poor little thing look terrified. She tried to get it to walk along on a harness.

Thankfully I didn't see it (can't stand JR), but will email anyway to protest - they won't know I didn't see it for myself.

I write to express my disgust at the fact a guinea pig was paraded on a harness and lead on this programme. Guinea pigs should NEVER wear a harness and be dragged along like a reluctant dog.

The little creature would have been traumatised anyway by the heat and lights in a television studio, and I can only hope it wasn't injured by the harness, as their bodies are not intended to wear them.

I also hope that this has been reported to the RSPCA as cruelty to animals, which is precisely what it was.

I haven't watched it since my TV has broken today :'(
Poor pig. Imagine being under all those hot studio lights with people laughing at rubbish jokes...
 
When that popped up on my FB from the guinea pigs page I was furious.
I'm glad I don't watch that crap since I dont have a TV.
The RSPCA need to get involved on this

its giving me flashbacks to my ex friend when he had a rabbit a rabbit she dragged it along on a harness and lease and didn't even check it everyday in the warm weather for flystrike. Then the poor thing got fly strike and he didn't notice it and I did straight away, which unfortunately the rabbit had to be put to sleep as the infection was to bad and the treatments would help

Going to watch it now - as only flicked over and saw the gallagher interview
 
I really can not believe this has happened, it is so irresponsible, really quite shocking, and just shows how flipping ignorant people can be.

I never saw the Gaga one with the sheep either, thats totally just as bad, why on earth do they need to parade their animals on tv if they even are their animals

JR should know better, i thought he was an animal/doggy lover.
 
I saw this show last night and was mortified. They were so ignorant towards the guinea pig's feelings and quite honestly I was shocked that I was watching two grown adults who didn't have a clue - and they wonder why some kids turn bad with people like that in the public realm setting the example. Sorry to rant but I don't like either of them at the best of times.
 
I just wish the poor little thing had pee'd on her. Totaly unacceptable stupid woman, don't like either of them much but this was too much.
 
I loathe JR but like(d) Miranda :( Shame on the production team for allowing this twaddle to be aired. I was intending to tune in just to see this crazy woman but am glad I didn't - hope this has not inspired people to go out and buy harnesses :( :...
