Omg!she died!

So this morning i woke up to find Lemon dead in the cage. She was completely fine and then she was gone! WHY? I am so upset! I didnt have her but a few days! Uh this sucks..i am so sad 8...

Does anyone know why guinea pigs just...die?
 
I don't but I just wanted to say how sorry I am - that's very sad.

What a shock, I am so sorry for your sudden loss.

If you don't mind me asking (trying to think of possible "reasons" for her sudden passing), how old was she? Where did you get her from?

As you don't know how well she has been treated before you got her and whether she had an underlying problem, there is nothing you could have done.

I am very sorry for poor Lemon and you!
 
As other people have said it could have been a number of things

With you not knowing Lemon's history it could have been anything and she could have had existing medical conditions, she may have been just old :(

omg, I'm so sorry 8... poor little thing

I dunno why she died, maybe she had a tumour or something inside her that you couldn't feel or know was there. Or could've been stress...I dunno.
It must be so hard to think one min she was fine and the next she's dead.

I'm so sorry to hear that. At least you made her comfortable and happy before she went to piggy heaven, i'm sure she is very grateful to you for that x
