OMG the cutest thing ive seen!!

This little fella was found on the M25 today, handed into the RSPCA and brought down to us at the vets. Weak, skinny and in need of some TLC. Poor little fella, we've named him 'Buttons' as hes a little baby boy. I'm so tempted to take him in and hand rear him myself. So so cute! Look...

Ah fair enough! It was his colouring that threw me, I'm used to seeing pure brown babies, not that lovely multi-tonal fur he has! Beautiful little boy! x)

EDIT: I've just remembered; I saw an episode of Animal 24/7 with bunnies that looked like he does, they were called Leverets (I think). That's where I get the idea about the colour from!

It was the eyes that gave it away, they are like saucers in hares The coat has that unusual colour too, they get redder as they grow up, his coat is a bit like an agouti piggie, must say he's adorable, you lucky thing to get so close to such a beautiful creature. I hope he pulls through okay.

2. Is "Herts" short postal code for "Hertfordshire"?
3. Does the baby make noise like the wild baby bunnies in the woods around my house? Once in a while one of my dogs or cats gets a baby bunny and it screams. I wonder if a domestic animal got this baby and dropped it on the "M25".

The M25 is a motorway that circles London, probably the busiest motorway in England! (i think you guys call it a freeway?)

Herts is short for Hertfordshire.

Thank you SO much for the explanations! Red is physically growing rapidly; if the growth does not stop he will be Redzilla! I feed him all the grasses of different types that he can eat. He is also emotionally becoming his own boar, so to speak; he has expressed interest in the animals outside his cage and comes over to say hello when they are near.
