Hello there. I have 2 twin guinea pigs called Toby & George who are 2 years old. I have been thinking about the world’s oldest guinea pigs, and have realised nobody has made a top 10 list. I would like to make one and have already got a few down such as Sweetie who lived to 17, Marty who lived to 15, Snowball who lived to 14, and some more. All I need now is some people comment their guinea pigs’ old ages along with their birth and death year and I could possibly even extend the list depending on how many people comment. Thanks 😁

My Finn is my oldest at 6 years of age, and I would love for him to live to be 15 years old. He was born in 2017, which is where my forum name, Seven7 came from. He was born in November of 2017, which is what the pet shop owner told me.

Loki on the left and Bear second to the right lived for just about six years 🦋

I'm mind-blown at the idea that a guinea pig lived to be 17, that's literally more than twice normal life expectancy. It's like a person living to be 135 or something!

Personally, most of my pigs have passed between 6 and 7, the oldest was about 6 years and 10.5 months when she passed. My daughter's friend, however, has two sister pigs who are about 7.5 years and both still trucking along, one of them has outlived her own daughter by several years.
