I have currently an on-going battle with the neighbours cats using the garden as a poop tray.

Have got to the point I have actually bought a poop scoop and doggie bags to clean up... It's one thing cleaning up after your own animals it's another when it's someone else's.

Have heard lavender is a good natural repellent so bought a little lavender plant and will be getting more... Plus side it smells nice... Downside guineas started eating it before it had taken root! OH was standing guard to stop it getting eaten!

Anyway have also got some oranges - spied the cat on the fence and these were my actual words
'yeah... Come in your little s*** machine I'll chuck an orange at you!'
OH said - I don't think it works like that
me - will scare her off though...

Will be sprinkling grated orange peel in the favourite areas and rubbing it against the fence! I will win this war!

Let's hope they aren't like my cat, holly. She likes lavender and rosemary. Not bothered by catnip :/
Holly is strange :)

Cats don't like citrus. I bought a cat and dog repellent because cats were spraying at my front door but didn't want my cat to stop using the cat flap. I haven't had any spraying since and my cat still goes out
