One of my boys has been dating at BARC rescue this week and I am on the train on the way to collect him plus new friend! Eek. Happy he has found a friend as he was not doing so well after he lost his cage mate a few weeks ago. Wish me luck for bringing them home on train and then the first evening at home. Can be a bit nerve wracking to move them to new environment after rescue has done all the careful bonding!

:yahoo: Yay! New piggies! I hope everything goes all right when you get them home. Remember, this will be a new situation for both of them, even your first boy, so there may be a bit of a tussle whilst they sort out their hierarchy. But if they are well bonded, it will not come to much.

Good luck ! At least you know you have gone to a rescue that offers a great bonding service.

PS - my new arrival ( Foster :)) ) is settling in nicely :)- although it has been a bit fraught at times .

Ok - so here is Fred! The latest boar to join our family.
He is quite large (!) and a long pig and also lovely, of course

The boys are being brilliantly well behaved and first evening has been so calm - they are a bit tired after their busy day - Shhhhh....

The magic camera makes Barney B look bigger than Fred but that certainly is not true

Thank you @pig in the city for looking after Barney B and his funny tummy so well whilst dating and getting him a lovely big Fred :yahoo:
