One Bald Ear?

One of my boys came to me with one bald ear, I thought it was a cute trait, that made my little Jerry all the more endearing. Today I thought to look in past posts to see if it was a common trait and found SO much on hair loss, so now I'm kind of worried.

I took the boys for a check when we got them and the vet didn't say anything but I didn't ask either. I know the bald patch extended to the back of his head a bit and now I'm questioning if the bald spot is growing or if it always was that far back. My first thought was that I'd just make a photo diary over the next couple of weeks to see if it was growing but the more I sit and think about it the more I question if this is something I need to get checked?

Firstly what a beautiful piggy.
His ear does look odd but without a proper hands on examination from a vet it is impossible to say if it is just one of the things that make him special, or a skin condition which may need attention.

I think I would take him along to a vet to have him checked out, but it certainly isn't an emergency.
