Hi My nearly 2 year old Millie has had one eye more sunken for the last month. She seems well in herself. You can see the white in her eye which you couldn't see before. Previously both her eyes were brown and round. Her other eye has a white mark which has been there for about 6 months. Any ideas?

If you can see the scelra (white of the eye) to me that would suggest that that eye is protruding, rather than the other one being sunken. Things that can cause the eyeball to bulge out include inflammation, infection, and masses behind the eye. What has your vet said/ prescribed? I always advise getting eye things looked at quickly as if left they can deteriorate fast, and/ or go past the point of return.

It sounds like pea eye, with the conjunctiva being visible but this shouldn't cause a white mark on the eye itself- please have her eye checked by a vet for any foreign bodies, scratches or ulcers.

All the best x

Please have the eye checked by a vet. All the best!
