I normally make a clicking or kissy noise because I wanted them to know when its food time and they've caught on.
I was petting one of my dogs and I made a kissy noise and the girls started squeaking! Both of them!
Than I made the clicky noise and the squeaked again. I am sooooo happy! I didnt know I could teach my piggies this, but than again any thing with food they're all for it ;) :)) :))

I have managed to do this too :) Although I say 'PIIIGGY PIGGY PIGGY PIGGY' in a high pitched voice. My OH tries to imitate it but the pigs don't respond, but then if I do it they're all squeaking up at the bars :p

Piggy training! Ours react to any rustling of bags, chopping board. And in a morning throw themselves at the bars when we open the living room door to come in.

every time we open the baby gate at the bottom of the stairs Seth and Norm start wheeking! lol 8;)

Yep it's true especially where there stomachs are involved.

I taught mine to run into here carrier from the garden enclosure. I just sing piggy train...and by nose and bum they follow in like Noah's arcxx>>>

My piggies recognise my dad's voice and also know he's a biggest piggy slave around and will give them tastey treats even if I've just fed them. Everytime they hear his voice the chorus of wheeking begins. rolleyes

My piggies recognise the word veggies in a high pitched voice and they start wheeking when they hear footsteps in the hall when its nearly dinnertime :))
Ive been trying to get them to go into their hidey when I'm picking them but it hasnt worked yet

My Piggys hear me chopping in the kitchen-that sets them off. Then when I walk in with their bowl I say "here we are girls", they go crazy!
I love it when they crowd round together waiting for me to put the bowl down, Millie has the highest pitched squeal along with Lottie, Bonnie sounds deep like a grunting noise, it's like a chorus :))

When I feed them their veg in the evenings I say 'vegetables' and they get very excited :p :))

Ditto goes crazy when he hear the fridge door open or if I'm chopping veggys on the chopping board even if the veggys are infact for my stir fry or stew! cheeky..

i whistle to mine, but if my OH tries it he doesn't get a response from them.
Bubble and Squeak use to start their squeaking as soon as i got to the garage door. hadn't even opened it but they knew i was coming to open them up.
