One of my guinea pigs is always squeaking

Hey everyone, one of my two new guinea pigs always seems to be squeaking pretty loudly. It usually happens when I enter the room or when I get out of bed (they're in my bedroom) and hides (so does the other but he usually doesn't make any noise), however still comes out if I give him a treat. I don't know what it means, is he scared of me? Is he happy to see me? I'm worried that he might be in pain as well. These are my first guinea pigs ever so I don't really know anything besides a lot of stuff that I've read about them. Can someone here help me? Thank you!
P.S. He was the first to start approaching me when I gave them veggies by hand and was always out of the hidey spot exploring, the other one was always a bit more shy, however it looks like the one who used to be shy is now more comfortable with me and the other one is a bit more scared of me.
 
It really depends on the squeak, for example my piggies squeak nonstop whenever anybody enters the room, or rustles a bag
 
Wheeking when they see or hear you is probably a compliment, they have learned you are a veggie dispenser not a predator :) some piggies wheek A LOT and some don't wheek much, but if they were scared they would stay silent not try to get your attention. Pain sounds arent usually loud wheeking, as sick piggies dont want to attract predators... congrats you've become a vegetable dispenser!
 
I wouldn't be worried, as mentioned above wheeking is a rather rewarding sound I find. My willow has the loudest wheek of my 4, however my newbie Lois is giving her a run for her money 🤣

I had a piggy Treacle who honestly had the loudest wheek I'd ever heard from a pig and would do it at any noise she heard, I couldn't even roll over in bed without one 😭🤣 bless her 💖 But anyway, yes, learn to love this noise, and it means they don't fear you and basically love you for the veggies and hay (all pigs slaves just accept this fact) 😂
