Hi everyone,
Lately, I was thinking with all this ridiculous lovely heat in England will we next have a very wet stormy autumn leading into an even colder winter!
Anyway, I have my guinea pigs outside in a hutch and I was thinking of buying a bigger shed (10ft by 7ft) and then place the hutch inside for them to permanently live in forever.
I have a small shed already but I was thinking of getting one size fits all solution and maybe keep my gardening stuff in there but divided the shed for safety.
I probably won't let them run around on the shed floor or anything as they have room in the hutch and an outside run for piggy happiness.
Would anyone else like to share their ideas for keeping piggies outside all year round?
Also, do any of you keep them in a hutch in a shed?

I am by no means an expert but I have had the same dilemma. I have decided to make a home for them in the shed off ground so I can store things underneath like chairs and gardening bits. It will be made of ply and sit 1.2m off the ground and have 2 lofts and a run down the side. Again all made of ply but covered with Lino or something similar.

I have mine outdoors with hutch hugger insulating layer and weatherproof layer. Though when it got really bad last year I moved them into the garage. This year I am hoping won't be as bad.
