One small step for piggy slave kind...

Well Rolo my new piggy has been with me for almost a wheek now, I hadn't planned any more pigs (do we ever!?) but saw an advert on gumtree for him - he was being housed with his 8 siblings in a tiny hutch, mixed sex. Accident just waiting to happen. Unfortunately they were for sale - and I only managed to get Rolo handed over for no charge. So the others are still with these people. I did my best to sex them, and explain they should split them up.

ANYWAY

So he has been very shy and timid, but i am delighted because today he actually ate FROM MY HAND! and i got photographic evidence to share

he just couldn't resist the home grown carrot tops!

Awwww glad you managed to rescue Rolo from there - it just takes time for them to trust us and its great news that he is beginning to. He's a really handsome piggy.
