One Squinted Eye!

Hi (again). I've noticed that one of S'mores's eyes is squinted a bit...it's been this way since i got her, which was yesterday morning. She doesn't seem to mind, she isn't trying to scratch it or anything. I've searched it and found nothing. Here are some pics! PS the second one is the squinty one, you might not see it through the camera but I do in real life.

Please have her checked by a vet; they have a special dye to see any injuries on the eye. Non-ulcerating injuries will not necessary show up otherwise. A smaller, pulled-in eye is usually a sign of pain/discomfort.

You should be able to get any vet cost reimbursed by a chain shop when you present the vet bill together with the sales receipt for any problem that was already present at the point of sale or where the incubation period fell before the sale (usually about a two weeks period).

Thanks! Her eye kind of healed itself. Before I got a chance to take her to the vet, it re-opened. But, however, her nose has little stuff coming out of it, and she sneezes a lot. Can piggies have allergies or colds?

Guinea pigs usually don't have viral colds, but they can have potentially deadly bacterial respiratory infections (URI). Allergies are a lot rarer. If in any doubt, please see a vet promptly and don't wait until it is too late!

Update 2: We took her to a vet. She has URI, but we got medication! 10 days of putting this stuff in her mouth twice daily, then a re-checkup, then hopefully no more URI! Thank you guys so much!

Well done for getting her seen. URIs can cause piggies to go downhill very quickly so it's good that you got her to the vet. Hope she feels better soon.
 
There's a paediatric suspension sometimes used on our piggies in Englad that tastes like banana and none of my piggies has ever hated it but others taste so vile I've had to sweeten them with Ribena. Glad to hear you are getting cooperation from your piggy !
 
I'm glad, too :) The vet gave her one portion of it yesterday while we were there and she licked it right out of the bottle, also later she licked the few droplets outside of it :) @VickiA
