One Thing You Never Expected About Guinea Pigs?

Someone has already said it.
But how loud they are! And also popcorning! I thought they were being bitten from something in the grass! Like ants or something! Hahaha I was really relieved when I found out it was a happy thing they do.
 
For me it is the trust Digger has in me. Being adopted and on his own, I am really surprised how much he trust me. Even when i poke my head in his cage, he will look up, yawn and goes back to sleep with both eyes close! sometime during his floor time, he just walks up to me and nudges to say hi. Sometimes, I sit by his cage and he will come up to me and start chatting/complaining. He is like my baby now. Not a guinea pig.

That's exactly what I do when I go shopping the first thing I think about is my piggies food and what treats to get them lol
 
Before I first had my guinea pigs I didn't now much about them or even think about getting one I was looking for a rabbit at first and then saw guinea pigs so I googled them and came onto this forum for research and really wanted one didn't think id love them as much as I do and that their amazing pets
 
Hazelnut was my first piggy I happened to acquire being concerned about his life, but having no idea about piggies at all. He turned out to be very clingy. Always wanting to be on my shoulder, pancaking flat out on my lap, and refusing to walk anywhere on my wood and tile floors. Ended up having to put towels down on the floor so he could walk about. Having managed to get Peanut Butter seven months later, Hazelnut stopped being so clingy, but still refuses to walk about unless there is fabric underfoot.
 
I'm always amazed at their in ability to bite. Over the year's I have syringes fed many a pig that didn't want fed. Any of these pig's could easily bite me but never have.

I love how they tell you off with a quick catch of the teeth never enough to produce blood or hurt but just enough to make there feelings known.
 
My first piggies. Little sisters Pat&Coco

1) That popcorning was a thing, I cried when i put my pups on my bed and they started popcorning like mad all over the place because i thought they were sick and having seizures.

2) That when pat was annoyed at cokes, she would turn round and spray pee in her face. It always amazed my how far she could spray it and how good her aim was. Still one of the funniest things about pigs i've learned so far.

3) the shock of realising they couldn't climb and didn't chew everything to pieces and ERMAHGERD!, THINK OF ALL THE THINGS I CAN DO, THE THINGZ I CAN BUILD AND PLACES I CAN GO TO BUY STUFFZ, THIS IS GUNNA BE SO MUCH FUN!1 DURRR :crazy:
*goes insane and spends £53846594626239052395 on fleece and storage boxes*.........

Sundae drags hers INTO the pigloo with her! She grabs the edge with her teeth and then walks backwards with it. We have to have two bowls all the time because she is a food hoarder!
