So happy to read this! He is doing brilliantly as are you.. I know its tough!

How is his poos doing? Is he still off the frusol and breathing well?

Much love to you both x

His poos are lovely firm nuggets again! Not had a problem with that since removing the Frusol, thankfully!

His breathing is totally normal and we've not had any fluid/sloshing noises so all seems quite well, he's still his grumpy self :)

Thank you, and to you and your herd :) I hope they've all been well xx

He is very lucky to have been on frusol then be able to come off it and breathe normally.. It isnt very often that happens. Normally once they need diuretics, they need them for life and gradually need more and more.. Fudge started on 0.2ml twice a day.. Shes now on 1ml 3x a day plus 5mg 2x a day of another diuretic.. So he is doing amazingly well!

Xx

Well I jinxed it! He's had a very bad few days and I can't really find a particular reason. He's dropped down to 640g, lethargic, gets his 'ill' face. He's sloshing now (How typical!) so I've resumed a tiny dose of diuretics and it's cleared a little already.

I've been syringe feeding him and he's a bit brighter today, but still very very poorly looking :(

I'm really sorry to hear this :-( they are so up and down with this horrible illness and it takes a long time to find the right balance of meds to keep things ticking over nicely.

I hope he picks up soon on the frusemide and he has many more good days.. They outweigh the bad xx

He did frighten me this time, but he was back to himself to the next day! He's back on Frusol permanently, only at 0.075ml once a day and he seems actually a tad brighter then he was before.

He's not having the bad reaction to it this time, I imagine the lower temperatures help a lot as my room is like an oven (despite all cooling attempts!)

His ringworm is also clearing up, his vet gave me Surolan it it's doing the trick. I'm going away for a week on 1st October and both he and Badger are staying with a local rescue, so nervous to leave them both with so much going on! Making me not want to go at all!

Boris passed away after a massive heart attack this evening. I was with him the entire time, but I'm still in shock and it's going to haunt me forever. I feel lost
