Morning all
Having spoken to Alex he has agreed after ourhoneymoon that we can get rid of or TV making space for a piggy cage.
We live in a small flat so don't have loads of space so going to try and keep them on vetbed.
Can anyone recommend an online site to order different hays and food from please?

Thanks

Amazon are pretty good for pellets, I buy a 10k bag of Wagg Optimium for £17.50 but found vetuk do them cheaper.

Hay I get from a shop a few miles away but the hay for pets website is good and have varied sorts to suit your piggies:

I buy the vet bed from ebay too.

Happy shopping :(|)

If you want hay and food then there's 2 sites I would recommend.

The Hay Experts

Hay For Pets

If you google both names you should find the sites. The second just do hay, the first do all food, hay and treats/ toys etc

Your getting rid of your TV? :o

Not sure i love my piggies that much :(|)

Well, we have a teeny tiny house, one up + en-suite and 1 down, i have considered converting upstairs into a piggy room and have one massive C&C set up with a hug herd of piggies, then me and my 6'3 OH could top & tale on our little 3 seater sofa, but god knows why he thinks its a stupid idea.....?

Silly man! Sounds like a perfectly good idea to me :)) Failing that, he could get himself a nice lil flat with my husband :))

Your husband wouldn't last 5 mins with my OH. I dont know how i have coped for 5 years!

Thanks everyone,
The TV doesn't really get used in our bedroom, we both have internet tablets and 98% of the time we steam live from the net, so might well get rid and them we can have piggies again
the cage will be a bit smaller than recommended but i get in from work at 4 and would be planning on letting them out on the 11 foot brick balcony we have and a run in the living room during the winter

I get my Wagg Optimum (10kg) from Feedem website which is £17.34 including delivery, which comes within a few days and lasts my 11 pigs a good month or so. It's ok if you have a lot of pigs but if you don't, you could be wasting a lot of food unless you can keep it in an air-tight, dry place.

I don't buy anything else online but hope that helps :)

I've been using pet supermarket (when they have some sales), as the food can be pretty good prices e.g. science selective pellets are now 60% cheaper. Been ordering Carefresh litter for the little critters and it's about £5 cheaper than P@H and includes P&P, which is generally free.

Ebay is great too (although I sometimes find that with post and packaging, it can work out more expensive).

And just think, the money you save on TV licence can go to buying piggie treats - sure OH will see the sense in that...

Completely agree - large bag of half a bale size lasts my seven for almost six wheeks and I'm v generous with it
