As always stuffed with lots of interesting piggy stuff!
- NEW: Saskia from Los Angeles Guinea Pig Rescue is starting a new regular column with exclusive stories by telling her own story - and boy, has she got stuff to tell!
- Lots of ideas to stuff your piggy Christmas stockings with!
- New social media celebrity cavies for you to meet.
- As always a medical article: this time about antifungals. Stuff those pesky spores!
- A Rescue Story about the horrible consequences of a diet exclusively on rabbit pellets that took off over Christmas 2016 and that has led to quite a journey through half of England. Some of you may recognise one of the piggies. I'm just saying.
- And my own article about Old Age and how you can turn this into a very special, precious time. This article rounds up this year's journey through a guinea pig's life from the moment of birth to the time you have to say goodbye. There is so much more to a life than you would have ever expected!
- The Reader's Piggy Gallery and Reader Letters - If you haven't sent in a picture or story, why not turn your own piggies into centrefolds in the new year? Now there is a New Year's resolution for you! :D

Don't forget to put a magazine subscription on your own Christmas wish list - you won't rue it!
You can subscribe to the magazine anywhere in the world either in print or as a download on here: Guinea Pig Magazine

Very excited here. I know i can read the digital version but i do like to wait until i get the paper copy in the post. :luv:

I prefer to see the whole thing in print, too; it is just nice to hold it when you are looking at it. No matter that I have been contributing to GPM for nearly 9 years now, it is still exciting to oneself in print - that is until you spot the first typo!
Still waiting for it to arrive, but it may take a while seeing how slow the mail delivery is here...

I was so excited to read the days of our lives once I saw it was on old age. I have a pig who’s 6, he’s my first oldie so I found it very informative and interesting!

Don't know what's happened, my copy hasn't arrived yet. I know they have our new address, as I had to re-subscribe before the last issue ... maybe the postie delivered it to one of the houses nearby with a similar name to ours ... or to the house with the same name over in Meriden... 😪

I am very sorry.

Can you please contact [email protected] in order to sort the problem. He is responsible for the distribution.

Thanks. I suspect a postal delivery issue, but I will contact them to check just in case. I'll see if i can collar my postie next time i see him, in case he remembers seeing it.

All the best! It is always very annoying when your issue is not arriving.

Mine didn't arrive either @Qualcast&Flymo but when I tried to check the website it said I didn't have an account! I can't remember when my subscription was due it may have run out with the last issue but I thought it was this one. I used to get a reminder to pay in with the magazine, it appears they have changed the way subscriptions work, they now keep rolling and payment is taken automatically until you cancel. I had no notice of that and don't think I had paid on my credit card so the payment won't have been made. I got no reply to an email so I have opened a new account as I particularly wanted Wiebke's article. Now waiting eagerly for the magazine to drop through the letter box and wondering if I will end up with 2! Sorry long story, just wondering if your subscription was due and like me you didn't get notice of this.

That's pretty much what happened to me with the last issue. I thought it might have run out, but wasnt sure as it would have been addressed to our old house, so I contacted them directly. They told me they have new and better online subscriptions system, but that meant my old details weren't carried over so I needed to re-subscribe online.
