Just getting in before Pepper and Pebble write to Miss Bramble at the GPU with a complaint.

Last night while I was filling up the boys hay and spot cleaning I closed the trap door to the bottom level of their hutch. Well this morning I woke up to find both boys locked into the top half as I’d forgotten to open the trap door again!

Oooops. I’m so sorry Pepper and Pebble. I know you like each other a lot but I also know you wouldn’t choose to sleep so close to each other ALL night.

They’ve had a cuddle AND extra basil today as an apology. I hope that’s appeased them enough.

This is reminiscent of the time I had a bad back and MrA helped me by doing the cleaning out the piggies one evening. In the morning when I came downstairs I was met with very loud wheeking and an empty cage. The piggies were in a rather soggy bottomed cardboard box on the floor with the remnants of some hay where he’d left them after getting distracted…. Extra breakfast veggies and a new clean cage worked wonders to pacify them!
 
Once, when Comet was being a bit of a nuisance, I lifted the ramp between the two Midwests, leaving one of them either side, to give them a few minutes to cool off. Except I then got distracted and came back, some time later, to a very miffed Comet and a very miffed Blitzen.

Dear Pepper and Pebble

Does your Slave think that by getting in first before you write to me will get her off the hook? Well as @fluffysal has stated I have eyes and ears everywhere. And it will not get her off!

I heard that you were made to share the Penthouse Suite of your hutch last night when you usually have the Granny Annexe too. How very dare your Slave not allow you to access all areas of your hutch. If she thinks a bit of extra basil and a quick cuddle is enough to make up for this injustice she is so wrong!

To ensure this never happens again, you have to show your Slave that you are extremely unhappy with her actions.

Give her the silent treatment whenever you would normally wheek at her, don't popcorn or show any pleasure in seeing her whatsoever or alternatively, wheek as loud as possible at every single opportunity. You know your Slave best so will know which tactic will work the best.

Take up sulking, this will worry your Slave and make her feel guilty.

Have a go at bar biting (though not so hard you break your teeth) Slaves like the noise as it brings them comfort. When they tell you to stop it as you are giving them a headache, carry on as they don't mean it.

Make it extra hard for your Slave to catch you. Just as she has her hands around your middle, run off. Only when you get tired of this game of catch me if you can, are you to let your Slave pick you up. If your method of being picked up is to go into a hidey, go in but then come straight out again and keep repeating this until you get bored then go in the hidey and stay there.

Hello Miss Bramble, Shop Steward of the GPU,

I was hoping that my honest, up front approach of acknowledging the error of my ways would result in some leniency from the GPU.

This has never happened to me before, nor shall it again. I have learnt from my mistake and will double check the trap door before retiring for the night myself.

Dear weepweeps

The GPU acknowledges that you have learnt from the error of your ways but it is never lenient on misbehaving Slaves. Advice and help is always given to piggies in need. It may not be want they want to hear but it is always available That is what The Ever Beautiful Betsy, founder of the GPU, wished for, passed on to The One and Only Thea and now I have taken on this responsibility.
