Oops! What did I do?!

I was in the dreaded PAH and couldn't resist a peek in the rescue section.......well, to cut a long story short, here are Poppy and Rosie......

The lady in PAH said they were handed in because the person had "too many guineas", and even though these girls are only about 3-4 months and 5-6 months they have both already had a litter of pups (GGGRRRR!). I think it was Rosie's pink ears which made me crumble..... Talk about acting on impulse - I am still in shock myself!rolleyes

So here are Ringo and Squeaky, who seem to be gradually getting used to being a couple, even though he's still being a bit of a pest!

I have to avoid going to the adoption centre as I always want to bring them all home - no willpower that's my trouble.

So glad they have found a home with someone who will love them lots.

Gorgeous! I'd have done the same i think. I am trying to stay away from all shops like that and doing all my shopping online or buying in bulk to minimise my needing to go in those shops.

Ringo and Squeaky are identical! |)

Yeah, it's funny they look so alike in this picture, but he's actually got a Mohican and looks a bit like a skunk! She's silky smooth and is tricolour. It was like they wedged up against eachother and became a 2-headed guinea beast! I think Squeaky is missing her mum (Lovely) as she's never had to think for herself, so she's in a bit of a slump. I'm sure she'll be fine, I have been going out of my way to find dandelions as a diversion......

What a handsome chap - it's the ears I love - that's why we decided on the name Rosie as her ears are like 2 soft pink rose petals! Poppy is a bit of a live wire, but Rosie is quite a demure wee lady....
