I found a bag of sugarsnap peas in the fridge and decided the boys could have them as a treat. Blitzen was obviously convinced it was his birthday the way he started scoffing the whole lot as quick as possible.

Comet, on the other hand, apparently doesn't like sugarsnaps. I am getting lots of sad wheeks from the cage like "but where's my treat dad?" I don't have favourites, honest...

:)) Hungry little piggy! What does Comet like the best?

Spinach, parsley and thyme...unfortunately for him, Blitzen adores those things too. Fussy sod lol
Always the way, Biltzen sounds like Vimto was - eat anything :))

I would like to point out that Comet has eaten sugarsnap peas before, he's just being deliberately awkward. Plus he scoffed his dinner of thyme and rocket, he's definitely not hard done by :))

Silly Comet! Just being a picky lad. He wants a BETTER treat, @Lorcan!

You admitted on a public forum to feeding him courgette.
Clearly his life is filled with hardship and suffering (and courgette).
I would further berate you for your failings as a guinea pig owner, but I am off to phone the RSPCA on behalf of poor Comet

Bahahaha I tried it once and the reaction was so definite I never tried again lol, I've never seen anything so resolutely avoided (not ignored. Avoided) in my life...except for me when my mum tried feeding me courgette.

Comet says thank you so much, however :xd:

My lot will eat courgette quite happily but ONLY if I peel it first. They will however happily scoff cucumber, peel and all, as quickly as their mouths can get it down their throats!

Tell me about it, tonight's dinner was supposed to be kale and dill til apparently nobody wanted kale lol.
A La Dill it is then...
Little monkeys:))

My hands still smell of dill lol, every time I go to take a drink it's like drinking the damned stuff :td:
Just hope they don’t try and nibble your fingers thinking they are dill! XD

No fear of that with Comet, he always "checks" he's actually going to bite food before he bites.

Blitzen, however, would take your fingers off if he thought they were preventing him from eating.

I still don't know how those two get along at all.

Yup, it’s a miracle they get along, but they do and they’re worth it :luv:

They're the best  and I'm not at all biased. At all.
