Just need to buy another cage for separation, more fleece, more food etc etc etc....but they're worth it!

I *think* the silver and white one is a male and the other two females. It's difficult to tell at the moment.

When is the best time to sex them as I know I will have to separate males away from the females by 3 weeks.

My other question is:-

If the silver/white is the only male is it ok for him to be on his own but next to the girls or will he be lonely?

sometimes you can sex them early, othertimes its later, the boy can be in the cage next to the girls, if he is a male he needs to seperated at 4 weeks, I would try and get them sexed asap. :)

oh and btw, they are GORGEOUS! it really is hard to depart with guinea pigs, esp. BABIES!, but make sure you can afford everything and have backup money in case of emergencies before making the big decision :)

You can always post pictures of the bits in question on here - the clearer the better - and we could try and give our own opinion.

If you have just one boy, you can either think of waiting and having him neutered at 4-6 months old, depending on the vet and his development, so he can join his mum and sisters after a further wait.

If you do not want to put him throught the long wait and an operation (especially if you are not sure about finding an experienced vet), you might rather want to find either another baby boar or an adult boar as a companion for him. Having him on his own for the rest of his life, even if he is next to your girls, would not be ideal.

I can fully understand why you want to keep these adorable little beauties!
I had to give my own babies away due to circumstances, and have rued it ever since.

Just had another look at them tonight and all 3 look like boys however if I press nothing protrudes is anything supposed to yet or is it too early? I think I'll put pics on here tomorrow lol!

I don't blame you for wanting to keep them.
They're absolutely stunning.
Besides, they're part of your family now :) One of your babies just had babies!
I'd want to keep them, too.

As long as you can afford it, I say "go for it!".

ICKLE MINI'S x)x)x)x)
oh they're so cute and adorable ahhhhhhhhhhh no wonder you're going to keep them, good luck with them all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I bet you the silver and white agouti is a boy. I don't know why but boys always seem to have better markings... Well I think so, anyway, but that probably isn't true :))!
