Hello everyone!

Now, I’m not sure if I’m just being silly. But I noticed tonight during floor time that Opals belly seems to be bigger on one side, I panicked thinking they’d be a huge lump inside. But I can’t feel anything, not even a small lump. She feels even and squishy on both sides. One of my piggies have had reddish urine every now and then recently but I’m struggling to figure out who to take to the vet! I suspected Opal.. but she pee’d normal in my lap last night. And I’ve checked the others too!
When I plonked her on the sofa to look at her belly, it looks totally normal. So the photos are pointless but I’ll still post them lol. It’s only when she moves that I noticed the lop sided belly.
I think I’m just being paranoid?

Oh and she’s not pregnant! Unless Spikes neutering wasn’t a success..but I waited 7 weeks for him to go in with the Girls! And Mary would have been the first pregnant but she’s huge anyway :)) And Olive is still as petite as ever

Perhaps worth having her checked for ovarian cysts if the 'swelling'/imbalance continues or becomes more prominent?

I took my Meg for a check for exactly the same thing but my vet said that sometimes that's just their shape and he could find nothing wrong (that we didn't already know about - she has a small lump but we are keeping an eye on it). He is pretty cavy savvy so it may not be anything to worry about, although a vet check might be helpful just to put your mind at ease.

Our Ruby is the same - everyone who meets her assumes she is pregnant and she is always carrying slightly off center.
The fact that she is 3 years old and never been in contact with an entire male, means pregnanacy is highly unlikley and she is just a full figured piggy :))

Thank you for the replies. I’m pleased to hear that others also look like that sometimes, hopefully it is just the way her tummy is sitting at the moment.
I’ll kerp a good eye on her and take her to the vet if I have anymore concerns:)
Another one here, my 3 year old sow Dot, looks a different shape every day, just the way she sits sometimes.Just keep a close eye for any other signs of illness.👍

She is a smooth haired like yours, with all my aby pigs i cant tell, so i dont worry and they are fine
