Opinion on Alfalfa sticks?

depends how old your guinea pig is. Alfalfa hay should only be fed to young guinea pigs up to 6 months and pregnant sows. Alfalfa is High in calcium. Can cause bladder stones ( life threatening most of the time).

Alfalfa is also known as lucerne. Watch out for this in nuggets.
 
They are called "small animal alfalfa chews" I feed them to my guinea pigs once a month or so. Do you recommend stopping?

Once a month isnt bad. I wouldnt feed it. Unless they are young or pregnant. Timothy is the best, high in fiber
