Great question! Hay balls can be very dangerous as many piggies can get their heads or extremities stuck in them. Even one of my boys got stuck in one relatively similar, but luckily we got him out quickly and he was just fine! I obviously no longer use that product!

Please do NOT buy one of those. They are extremely dangerous. Not long ago, there was a member whose piggy got trapped in one. Thankfully the owner came home and was able to free the piggy but it could have been so much worse Potentially Dangerous Cage Accessories And Toys

We’ve seen so many injuries and near escapes from those balls that I wish they’d remove them from sale.
