is it ok to give the pigs there veggies every other day? it seems like when i give them everyday they have moist poops. but everyother day seems ok on there digestive systems. is it imperative?

Do they have unlimited hay? I give my piglets fresh veggies twice daily, and my poos (well...my pigs, rather) are normal and easily vacuumed.

You may also have them checked by a vet for parasites if they're having moist poos. I know that a cup of veggies per day per pig is the normal amount, as Glynis stated.

How much veg do you feed them each day and what kinds?
Perhaps you could continue to feed it daily, but reduce the amount or have a look at what kinds of veg you are feeding.

well they have plenty of hay, and i give them bell peppers, kale, parsley, tomato. occasionally they get, cucumber, carrots, celery, and very occasionally fruit. and i dont measure exactly, i just make an ample salad on a paper plate for the 3 of them to share.

kale, parsley and tomoatoes shouldnt be fed everyday.

corriander is a better daily one than parsley.

Mine get tomatoes rarely - usually when my tortoise does :)) But I bet if you change what you give them their poos will be more normal.

Try serving half a portion daily! An ample plate serves my nine for dinner!

I feed my lot veg once every other day, the other days they get readigrass :).

Makes the veg last longer, and stopped my Gilly from having moist/loose poo.
