Hi everyone
Just wondering people's opinion , I put my guniea pigs outside in an outdoor run with grass and lots of enrichment activities tunnels , a wooden house , play chew bricks etc and then bring them in when it gets dark . They both clearly love being outside and do popcorns when they are there .Also I'm lucky enough to have a small spare room ( and an understanding Partner LOL ) and when the weather is too cold to be outside I let them run about in a safe supervised environment with toys and food etc. So what I'm wondering is how can people keep there guniea pigs in one cage for their entire lives with little stimulation? Would you all say this is animal cruelty ?

I don't have alot of space indoors at all for a permanent run but it's easy enough to set ones up for couple of hours each day. Mines totally in the way but it's so worth it to see them popcorning ❤

The spare room mine are in is excellent for floor time. It is animal cruelty to not exercise them, give them a new environment to enjoy.
Because our grass is often damp, I pick it for them and dry it to keep their tummies used to it when they can't go out.
Not sure how important fresh air is? I'll have to keep the windows open a lot.
I actually really enjoy floor time, piggies toddling around, sniffing this and that :D

Aww thank you! He's a little rascal , it just makes me sad that people buy these 'easy animals' and don't know much about their needs !

I just wanted to post to say Titan is a very handsome guy! and thats quite an adorably grumpy look he's got going on there.

Titan is indeed a stunner!
