Hello all :) to those of you who don't know the story of my young GP's...4 Gp's were handed in to a local vets as they were found by a dog and it's owner on a dog walk. There were 3 sows and a dead one (?sex) and 2 sows were found to be pregnant 8...they were going to be pts until my sis rescued them. Each sow had 2 boys each, I have rehomed one from each sow.

The sows were all very young themselves but seemed to be in good health, my sis has given them excellent care, the very best she could offer in every possible way with foods, love and attention.

So the mother's were young and my 2 little cuties are now just over 3 weeks old and I am keen to offer them the best foods to achieve their optimum health and growth and for the health of their future. I have been reading about how alfa alfa and how it is good for young ones due to the calcium, where can I buy this? Also would you recommend any other foods at all for this stage of growth and how often should I be weighing them?

Sorry another question! I am bringing them into the garage overnight (in the day they are housed in a hutch which has a cozy sleeping den, inside this is a thick lidded cardboard box filled with straw and nespapers) in the garage they are in a cardboard box the same as hutch inside a wooden lidded box off of the floor, say 2 foot wide 2 foot deep and 2 foot high-there is an inch ventilation gap! Is this enough for them as it's only going to get colder and they are small!

Sorry for all the q's! x
