hey you guys!

--*Sorry for the messy pic with poop everywhere!

so my piggie finally started drinking water! I gave her purified, rather than tap & now she drinks regularly. I changed her pee pad earlier today & came home & saw this. She is definitely hydrated, so could this be a UTI? Or is IMG_5715 2.webp this normal?

@juliloveswinnie That's fine. Pee can oxidise into an orange/brown colour. Plus the chemicals in puppy pads make urine dry a really weird colour sometimes. My puppy pads are quite often stained orange/brown when a pig pees on it.

Well done for checking though ! :D

No, that is normal oxidised pee. it discolours when it comes into contact with air, but is clear when it leaves the body. Some veg can also colour pee (carrots, pepper and even lettuce).
