Well all, Ive had Bugs for over a month and needless to say she is extremly healthy. Bugs has settled in real well and is currently learning the ropes on how to push my buttons. I still have a small little problem with poops being odd shapes and a little soft when its hot out but however she is gaining weight (she is 2lbs), eating like a racehorse, drinking lots (bottle is gone within a day between them), she is really responsive and alert, so as long as there is no change in the behavior that I am seeing then I am not too worried and even her vet said because of the situation, it will take longer for her to get her bowels on track again now that shes on the proper diet. Her recent check up back in July was determined that she was not pregnant and after a full check up she was still really healthy.

Oreo, turned one on saturday which most of you do know and have commented on her birthday thread. She is miss princess and a big baby. We recently had 3 thunderstorms last night and of course Oreo needed to be with mum.... Needless to say she snuggled beside my head last night and was still there this morning when the alarm went off. She is turning into a bossypants type of pig but none the less she is a total sweetheart.

Both of them together are bonded like you would not believe. They have to be touching one another if they are eating or drinking, touching one another at night in the hut (unless there are storms then both of them are in bed with us on different sides) They like to sit on the couch and watch tv but however last night was a funny story. Bugs fell asleep on the couch and Oreo went to groom her. At one point Bugs let out a fart and Oreo protested at me because it wasn't ladylike for her. Then later on Oreo went back to groom Bugs' back end and I was hoping Bugs was going to at least do something to make Oreo upset (I am so mean but honestly, if you were here when it happened you would be laughing real hard). They both groom one another and there is still the rumbling sound but however Oreo only does it right before they go to sleep for the night so Bugs will snuggle up to her, which to me I find very unique.

Now for the pigtures of the girls.

First there is Bugs, I caught her snuggling with her dad one morning and had to take a picture of this.

Next here is Miss Oreo, this is from one morning where there was a storm the night before so she is on the bed. Needless to say she was still sleeping when this was taken :))

Now here is the funny pigture of the two that I told you about. I think this is precious because of how they are sitting. Haha Bugs has demon eyes because of the flash (or she is real evil and about to do something nasty to her sister haha)

This one was taken after Bugs decided it was alright to pee on Oreo once again.... Damn, I think she's had more clean ups then Bugs but I guess Oreo cannot stay away from the butt haha.

Oreo was sooooooo sleepy in this picture. (chicken leg haha)

Hmmmmm I take it that Oreo wanted to be alone to sleep

Last but not least here is miss Bugs. You can tell she is small and long (shows you her size)

Enjoy!

very cute, love the fact oreo protested at bugs manners!

Oreo is a miss Princess. Has manners like you would not believe, except when it comes to the pumpkin seeds then FOOD GOES EVERY DIRECTION! Both fight over them constantly

Gorgeous piggies but wow oreo is a stunner! so cute! x)drool

Glad to know they're doing well, sounds like they get on wonderfully!

I don't know what breed Oreo is but yes she is a beauty.

Bugs is a type of Short haired breed if I am correct

Oh they are both so sweet. :rose It is adorable the way they have bonded and like to be so close together. :)

thanks. They are my babies and I love them to bits. Now that Bugs is drinking out of a bottle its the best thing because they take turns using only one (I had two but the one wasn't being used so I took it away)

He he, I know it's so cute when one waits behind the other isn't it!

Awww they are lovely! Great pigtures, love seeing sleepy pigs and chicken legs! drool

Oh yes lol. He was watching tv so he wasn't paying attention that I took a photo haha

What a sweet pair! x)

It is touching to see how aware guinea pigs are of each other's proplems and how dedicated they are to care and help! I see the same with my eye piggies.
