Junior Guinea Pig
In the early hours of yesterday, my beautiful old boy, Oscar went to the bridge. He was 6. He was the funniest, most affectionate boy I've ever had the pleasure to love with all my heart. He was afraid of nothing! It's time to be forever young Oskie and run free with your pals.
We have had a year from hell with our piggies. First, Elliot who was also 6 passed away suddenly. He was such a fit, athletic piggy with so much energy, and the shock was terrible.
Then, just over a month ago, again so suddenly, our gorgeous 2 year old, Charlie, went to the bridge. So, so shocking as both Elliot and Charlie had appeared so fit and healthy, and hadn't lost any weight.
With Oscar, he had slowed down a bit and was enjoying his piggy golden years, but again, he was playing out the day before without a care in the world. My tremendous trio who I've brought up from being babies, all gone within a year. I'm demolishing their hutch (which we have indoors) as I'm paranoid it has some sort of infectious disease now.
