Helen at Bramley Cavies said our 3 were well enough to come home with us at last, so last night we collected our baby girls!
Snowy, Pippin and Toshi moved into our house very well, spreading joy and guinea pig poop throughout our home.
They are 8 1/2 weeks old and utterly gorgeous. Well, they will be, they have a few bald patches from the fungal infections they had but their fur is growing back nicely. It gives them a rakish air, we think!
At the moment we are taking things slowly - no handling last night as they settled in, just a 5 minute hold and hand-feeding some veggies today. They seem to love their new home and little Toshi popcorned when she found the kale.
We're looking forward to getting to know them properly over the coming weeks, and spending many happy years with them. Hurray for Bramley Cavies Rescue!
