Inspired through a post by @TheAurora & support & encouragement by @PiggyOwner , and approval by @sport_billy, I'd like to start this tribute for all of us who have said a tearful goodbye to a fuzzy friend or more. This simple thread, that we may honor them, remember them, and once more share their sweet images with everyone to bring a smile to our face, and love in our hearts.

Let's each post a pic or two, and a simple sentence, honoring our long lost, but never forgotten, piggies...

My beloved Flinn who we lost in March, aged at least 6 that we know of. Aka flinn-bo, my grumpy old man who loved nothing more than hogging the hay box, you leave a huge, huge piggy shaped hole.

Rillo (Baby Roo), the guinea pig with a million different names. You came into our lives 21st February 2009 & slipped away 10th May 2015. One in a million, now reunited with your buddies Shambo, Bubbles, Jess & Tipsy. Sleep well precious x Miss you all x

Sophie (grey/white Aby) came into my life in January 2004 and on Feb 28th presented me with three babies: son Oboe (brown) and daughters Tambourine (right) and Clarinet. Sophie outlived her children by two years. She was taken from me almost without warning in Jan 2010. I carry their pictures in my head and in my heart.

My queen Bea, you fought illness for 18 months to keep the posse of pigs in line. It was wonderful to see you transform from grumpy old sow to loving, snuggly wife-pig and surrogate mum
