Adult Guinea Pig
I didn't think I would be posting so soon after Panda.
We had to say a very sad good-bye today to Albert. A very brave and fine little pig. He came into our lives just over a year ago as a rescue. Our aim was for him to be a husboar to our 5 girls. Sadly this didn't work out. But we arranged the cages so he was never short of piggy company. Earlier this year we took on a girl - Maggie( who had a skin complaint. ). We sorted her out and gradually introduced them. A miracle - they got on well and moved into a large house together. 2 blissful weeks they had until we noticed Albert going down hill. A visit to the vets confirmed a dental was needed but sadly complications set in. Good-bye little Man. Its awfully quiet without you here. Maggie is missing you but she's having plenty of cuddles and she's got Mr Lamlam (his cuddly) to keep her company. We will miss your mad professor hair and your endearing little smile. Run free Albert. xxxxx
