Little Piggles
Senior Guinea Pig
Our darling bunny, Bailey left us this afternoon for the Bridge.
He reached the grand old age of 11 and a half before falling into his forever sleep this afternoon.
Bailey had lived with my Grandparents for the last 6 years or so and it was my Gran who rang me today to tell me he was poorly. She was quite upset and has been keeping a close eye on him all day, but he left before I could get to him.
Bailey was a funny little guy who had some strange quirks. He was very fussy and would ONLY eat Excel nuggets (and was not best pleased when they changed their recipie!). He loved to dig in my Gran's fluffy rug, before crashing out on it for a little nap. He was so very placid and would happily sit and be brushed, de-tangled (during moulting times) and have his nails trimmed with no fuss.
He has been buried in a shady part of the garden, right next to where he lived all his long life and was laid torest with fresh hay and a couple of his favourite treats.
Sleep peacefully Bailey. We miss you already
