our girls are going on holiday!

we are going away camping next saturday for 4 nights (?) and we have booked Misty and Millie into a guinea pig hotel while we're away. it seemed like a great idea at the time, but now i'm worried that our babies will think we've abandoned them 8... we're going to take their food bowls, water bottle and tubes to go in the hutch, is there anything else we could do to make them feel more at home?

also, i know there is not a lot we can do about this but i'm worried that something might happen to one of them while we're away, as Minnie passed while my sister was away and i would hate it to happen again, i love them so much xoxo

We worry about ours when we are away as well and they are staying with my mum and dad we always make sure they have all their own food bowls, water bottles etc so that there is a familiar smell with them.

It s a little bit different but when we had to leave Jules at the V.E.T for a small op we left (or rather I, without my OH knowing lol) left his hoodie with Jules as he had been sitting on it to travel to vets and his smell was on it.

i am sure your piggies will be fine as the hotel will know what they are doing but I understand your worry as I am exactly the same
