our little boys are getting so tame

every evening my daughter and i have floor time with our three piggies, pepper, who is 4, is very laid back, not fussed where he is really! the babies are now just 8 weeks, and at first would just try to hide in corners, what a change in the last few nights! they now climb onto our laps(we sit on the floor) and love a cuddle and talk const antly while we stroke them, they dont go very far from us, and we put their seed bowl on the floor and they are quite happy to be stroked while they eat, just goes to show if you put the effort in how trusting and tame they become, a real tonic for us after me being at work too!

Awww, great news. It's lovely when they start to trust you isn't it. I love hearing them chatter away during laptime.

yes they do, it is so lovely,they have been doing that three nights now, and Hartley, who is smooth haired, almost purrs when you stroke him, the aby, liquorice is more fidgety, but i am sure i heard somewhere that abys dont find it so comfortable to be stroked because of the way their fur goes in all directions, can anybody tell me if this is true?

Hi liquorice allsorts, i have an aby sow, and she doesn't really like to be stroked either - she prefers to be sort of scratched/massaged with my finger tips. So you may well be right!

Yes, he definitely likes being scatched behind the ears, but not stroked down his back like the other two do.
