We received some very sad news today that our one of our sponsored rescue piggies Jamie had passed over the rainbow bridge. We were very lucky in that we visited the rescue yesterday morning and saw Jamie for one last time. Joanne at Hutches Rescue knew that he was ready as the previous day he had a major burst of activity whilst on run time with his cagemate Rosie and then had become extremely quiet and lethargic.
Jamie was one of the long term permanent residents at the rescue as he had major surgery a couple of years ago to remove a large tumour the size of a golf ball. He had a full and active life at Hutches and Joanne took wonderful care of him. Jamie was very lucky as he received some wonderful gifts last Christmas from Secret Santa.
He passed quietly in Joannes arms of natural causes.
Run free little man.....
