Guinea pig slave
Senior Guinea Pig
Sally has been with us for a week almost, still in quarantine pending joining our herd of Diva's very soon.
She's such a lovable little thing, loves her food, only veggies she doesn't like so far is cherry tomatoes and celery so they're crossed off her menu. I've never seen a piggy love hay so much either.
Yesterday, we decided it was time to move her into the pen next to the herd so she can smell and chat to them so our hus/wife pig needed a new home - OH built a lovely big house for them above the Himi girls, over 6ft long and they love the extra space, just have to add the final touches the weekend when I'm off from work:
Bruce and Sheila after exploring - Bruce is not really camera shy...
Sally is now in the 5ft section separated by grids which after the weekend and following hopeful bonding, they grids will be banished forever. They will have a huge 12ft pen then to play in...
She soon settled in and was popcorning all over the place and loves foraging in her new hay bucket:
Sally chilling out after the exhausting sniffing and chatting to the new neighbours :
Saying good morning to us meaning in piggy language FEED ME NOW. Who can refuse that little face x)x)
She is a little treasure and we are really sooo chuffed to have been given the opportunity to give her her forever home x>>
More updates on our new baby after the weekend.
Thanks for looking.
