Our Midwest setup

Here’s where our two boys live, we got Midwest as the first two were unbonded and we were advised they wouldn’t bond by the rescue centre, we since lost Jerry and now have spruce and he and II seem to be happy as a bonded pair which is lovely.

they do also get floor time in the kitchen, grass time outside (when weather permits) and lap time.

Is there anything else we could get? We do have some hanging chew toys on the way as well but last ones we got they didn’t seem fussed,

I wouldn’t bother with hanging chew toys. Most piggies won’t touch them. They’d rather play in large piles of hay of cardboard boxes.

Makes sense, they looked at them a few times and then never went near them again.

I’ve been tempted to put in a loft as well, I know it doesn’t offer more floor space but just more places to explore and the like.

I would also cut back on the pellets. That’s too much. They only need a tablespoon each. Looking good though. They obviously like the fleece forest!

Thanks and noted, we were going off what the rescue centre told us which was the pellets should just cover the base of the bowl. Although they don't seem to eat loads of them anyway so makes sense to cut back on them!

They have also taken to running through the hay filled cannon tunnel like its a game.
